The first ERASMUS + project for Stjepan Radić Elementary School
In September 2024, the first Erasmus + project for the Stjepan Radić Elementary School, Artistic journey to green future, was approved, with the primary objectives being:
- to stimulate imagination through art
- to foster environmental awareness in children from an aesthetic point of view, so that children appreciate natural beauty
- to provide impactful and lasting environmental education
- to promote the development of key social and civic skills
- to encourage children through art to love nature and find solutions to combat climate change
This project deals with the environment and climate change, creativity, art, and culture. In societies that are far from art, teaching concepts such as love, respect, and tolerance is insufficient, and it is observed that children who are far from these feelings unknowingly damage their environment. By establishing a strong partnership with a university, four primary schools, and a foundation, the aim is to contribute to the creation of an aesthetic and moral view of nature through modern methods of work through art as a chosen tool.

The project was approved by the Spanish Agency for Mobility and EU Programs, and the approval for the implementation of the project for the Stjepan Radić Elementary School in the last school year was signed by the former principal, Prof. Božena Nikoletić.
The project involves students from the 1st grade and 5th grade who created the project logos and voted for the two best ones. The winning logo for the 1st grade was created by student Roko Mustapić, and the winning logo for the 5th grade was created by Iva Ujdur.
